Wonderful fusion Japanese dining in a beautiful atmosphere. All the dishes are so beautifully plated and carefully curated. Definitely recommend for a celebration or just any lovely night out. I particularly enjoyed the miso sablefish, hotate oshi and the Minami roll. To top it all off, the banana pie was so amazing that I would come back just for it.

This was my first time at Minami and it was actually amazing and lived up to the hype! I came with a party of 7 people as despite coming very early for the reservation, was quickly attended to by the receptionist which let me go inside and make myself comfortable first! Was quickly poured some water and had small talk with the waiters, which despite the rest of my group showing up 20 minutes late was very accommodating! Anyways, we had the summerlicious menu and it was awesome! The crudo with the seabream was so refreshing light and fresh, the nigiri was on point, especially the aburi and the yellowtail, the sablefish was beautifully cooked, the tenderloin was super juicy with that acidic balsamic glaze, and the carrot cake was such a great way to end it all together, with the perfectly sweet cream cheese filling and perfectly balanced miso caramel sauce! Absolutely loved how the waiters broke down each dish as they were serving as well which really added to the experience! Overall just an amazing environment to be in with the ambiance and I can't wait to come again! Thank you Minami for the awesome time!

Had such a great experience here the other night for our anniversary. We tried out their 5-course winter tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. From the apps all the way to the dessert, it was so so good. The standouts were definitely the salmon crudo and the 7 piece sushi set. Everything was super fresh and had a great combination of flavours. The miso baked sablefish was so buttery and was a great portion. I definitely would come back again and would highly recommend.

We came to Minami as a party of 7 adults and 1 baby to celebrate Mother's Day. We had a reservation so we had no problem getting seats. We highly recommend making a reservation in advance. They were very accommodating with our little one, which we really appreciated. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and the combination of flavours of each of the rolls we ordered were really amazing! Our favourite item was the duck. It was mouthwateringly good! The service was excellent and we had a great time overall. Would definitely return at another special occasion.

Had a wonderful experience here mid June. Came for dinner before the Lion King. Service was very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. Drinks are solid here, especially the Pandan Punch. Food is delicious, the Hotate Oshi and Salmon Oshi are sublime. We finished off with a Dark Chocolate Cake for the books, paired perfectly with a mango curd and mango passion fruit sorbet, it was a combo I didn’t expect to love so much. Truly a great dining experience.

We happened to go here because of the decor! The food was amazing and the service was also fantastic. We got seated in a very comfortable spot and the staff were very attentive. Wagyu was delicious and the sushi was on point with the flavours and unique sauces. Got to try a lot of new things at this restaurant, the only critique I have is that the dessert was not up to standard in terms of creativity or flavour compared to the other dishes, I would have rather had something more simple or something more complex. I had an amazing experience at Minami! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was outstanding—the duck was cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce, the sushi was incredibly fresh and just melted in my mouth, and the crispy chicken was a delight. To top it all off, the carrot cake was the best I’ve had in town. Highly recommend!

Had dinner with a gf on Wednesday night. We had reservations and decided to sit indoors instead of the outdoor patio. Our server was lovely and brought us our drinks first. We took our time deciding and settled on the chef tasting menu- fantastic! The food was artfully presented and the care and attention to detail is outstanding. As each course came to the table our waitress explained each item on the plate which was helpful especially the sushi as they all had varying flavor profiles. Since I can’t have dairy, they gave me a coconut sorbet while my gf had a taro/ube ice cream. Service was stellar! Washroom is upstairs so a warning to those with mobility issues. This was not a cheap experience but also fair for what we received.
